Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954) is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of prizes which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020 , she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress when she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy began working in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara was included in the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
