Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as an American television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced their intention to leave the show in May 2021 and begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball has been engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new interest in politics due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact that it had on the citizens of her home country and gained an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She established the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May 2017.
